About William G. Stephenson
William G. Stephenson is a freelance writer, law student and Classics graduate, based in Charlottesville, Virginia. When not ploughing through cases, writing his next article or translating Cicero, he works on what will be his first novel.
William started writing professionally in 2008, as a reporter for the Prescott-Russell News, a community newspaper based in Embrun, Ontario. Over the next year he covered everything from local politics to sports tournaments, writing in both French and English for the News and other Editions André Paquette Inc. owned papers. In November of that same year, he was asked to join the fledgling Musketeers' Journal and was finally able to make the jump to that paper in 2009. He worked on a freelance basis with the Musketeers' Journal until 2010 and now of and other publications.
His love of literature and the liberal arts led him to study Classics at the University of Ottawa, and he obtained his baccalaureate in 2010. Currently, he focuses on writing, studying law at the University of Virginia and learning the violin.
